Cleveland Volcano (Aleutian Islands) ist Ergebnis erneuert Aktivität, die in Satellitendaten beobachtet wurde, und AVO ist die Erhöhung der Aviation-Farbcode zu Orange und die Warnstufe zu beobachten. Eine neuen Lavakuppel wurde in der Gipfel Krater beobachtet, und wurde von 30. Januar 2012 rund 40 m (130 ft) in Durchmesser. Während dieser aktuellen Lava Eruption gab es keine Beobachtungen der Asche Emissionen oder explosive Tätigkeit. Die Lava-Dome, die während der Herbst-Winter 2011 gebildet wurde weitgehend durch die explosive Aktivität am 25. und 29. Dezember 2011 entfernt. Es ist weiterhin möglich für intermittierende, plötzliche Explosionen von Blöcken und Aschen jederzeit auftreten und Asche Wolken von mehr als 20.000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel können zu entwickeln. Solche Explosionen und ihre zugeordneten Asche Wolken können in Satellitenbildern stundenlang unentdeckt. Wenn eine große, explosive, Asche produzierenden, seismischen Ereignisses kann Infraschall oder vulkanische Blitze von lokalen und regionalen Überwachungsnetze erkannt werden. Es gibt keine Echtzeit seismischen Kontrollnetz auf Mount Cleveland.
