There are 8 flank cones.Volcán Sillanegra (or Malal) is another young, Holocene pyroclastic cone complex with 2 craters and basaltic aa lava flows east of the Río Grande. Volcán Ranquil del Sur is a 3rd young small stratovolcano south of the Río Barranca. It contains a 600-m-wide crater and produced andesitic scoria and lava flows. |
