A small series of ash emissions occurred in the morning of 16 May, following a weak increase in seismic activity during the past week.
Donnerstag, Mai 16, 2013
Internal / external activity has been low with weak earthquake activity (although at somewhat increasing tendency) and steaming observed. Pasto reports low values of SO2 emissions.
Donnerstag, Mai 02, 2013
Activity (seismic and at the surface) has recently calmed down at the volcano.
Samstag, Apr 13, 2013
Small ash explosions continue to occur almost each day.
Sonntag, Apr 07, 2013
Ash emissions have become more frequent since 4 April - the Pasto observatory has reported daily small explosions since then. This marks a significant increase in activity. Before, the volcano had produced such emissions only a few times per month since September 2012. ...mehr

During clear days, steaming and occasional weak ash venting (on 22 and 25 March) was observed. Seismic activity has shown a decreasing trend recently, INGEOMINAS reported. Most earthquakes detected at the volcano recently were related to internal fluid movements and of weak energy.
Freitag, Mär 15, 2013
Activity has remained more or less unchanged, with occasional weak ash emissions and degassing observed at the crater. ...mehr
Sonntag, Mär 10, 2013
Activity has remained generally low, with occasional ash explosions such as on the afternoon of 7 March.
Sonntag, Feb 03, 2013
Small volcanic quakes and long period events continue, but seismic and surface activity generally remains low.
Donnerstag, Jan 31, 2013
Sporadic small steam and sometimes ash emissions continue to be observed from time to time, such as on 22 and 27 Jan. Low-energy tremor pulses accompany the emissions. Seismicity has been of low energy during the past week.
Mittwoch, Jan 23, 2013
A slight increase in seismic activity was reported by Pasto Observatory. Most seismicity was related to fluid movements within the volcano, some by degassing and light ash venting, which was observed on 16 and 21 January. ...mehr

Seismic activity reflects fluid movement inside the volcano and has shown a slight increase in frequency and energy compared to the previous weeks. Some of these events were associated with degassing from the main crater and fumarolic fields located in the west and north of the active cone. Emissions including some ash venting was observed on 1,2,3 and 4 January.
