In mid April 2008 and again in late March-early April 2009, Anak Krakatau started to erupt again. For this reason, we again offer you the chance to see this spectacular volcano on expeitions that weill be arranged on demand for 1-10 pax.
During this physically EASY expedition, you will have 3-5 full days and nights on and around Krakatau volcano. If it is active, watching Krakatau's fireworks is spectacular and we can go to various viewpoints on Anak Krakatau and neighboring islands as well from a chartered boata at our disposal. This all in a phantastic exotic setting combined with the luxury of pleasant baths, beaches, fresh seafood and excellent organisation from our experienced local crew.

3 days on Krakatau itinerary

Tag 1:	Arrival in Jakarta Own arrival in Jakarta, pick-up from airport and meeting in the evening. Ü: Hotel in Jakarta (D)
Tag 2:	Transfer to the West coast Transfer to the West coast, preparation of the expedition. Ü: Hotel / bungalows at the beach (B, L, D)
Tag 3-5:	3 nights / 4 days on Krakatau 4 days in a camp on Anak Krakatau or one of the neighbour islands, to observe the (hopefully still ongoing) eruption. Ü: Camp on Krakatau (B, L, D)
Tag 6:	Rückkehr zur Westküste - Transfer nach Jakarta - Rückflug nach Europa Am Morgen brechen wir unser Zeltlager ab und fahren mit dem Boot an die Westküste zurück. Nach dem Mittagessen geht es nach Jakarta zurück und fliegen nach Europa (Ankunft am nächsten Morgen in Europa). Ü: Im Flugzeug (B, L, D)

Anreise:

Own arrival to Jakarta. Good airlines to choose from include Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, KLM, Emirates, Quatar, Ethiad, Thai and others.

Unterkunft:

In Jakarta we stay in a comfortable hotel with modern facilities. On the West coast, we spend two nights before and after Krakatau in comfortable bungalows right at a beautiful beach.
On Krakatau itself, we stay in an improvised camp with no established facilities on a wild beach.
