Santa maianetta / MMI V (Moderate shaking)
Puerto Cayo (Ecuador) (48 km W from epicenter)(no details): Lasted 2-4 seconds. Sounded like a heavy wind. I am staying 50 yards from the ocean, so I am not sure whether the sound was the surf or the earthquake. It did shake the bed. (via EMSC)
Puerto Cayo (Ecuador) (49 km W from epicenter)(no details): Rattled the windows and doors (via EMSC)
Puerto Lopez (Ecuador) (66 km SW from epicenter)(no details): Nope, I was in a hostel and I didnt hear any commotion coming from other guest and my bunkmate didnt wake up. During the first few seconds, I wasnt even sure if it was an earthquale or a very cheap hostel with people dancing. The movement was too much of a smooth swaying after about 5 or 6 seconds to be anything else but an esrthquake. Neighbourhood dogs went on a barking frenzy for a good 10 minutes after that. (via EMSC)
