Strong strombolian acitivty from SE crater on 8 Nov 2006

One week of activity culminated in a paroxysm of SE crater, i.e. strong, near-continuous stronbolian acitivty (almost lava fountains). At the same time, several vents opened up on the W flank of the SE crater, including the 3050 m vents and one vent in the saddle between the SE crater and the Voragine.
