A tour on the mysterious Methana peninsula with its 30 lava domes. You discover the volcanic mountains and its hidden archaeological places. On the walking tours Tobias Schorr explains the rare plants, animals and meets the people of Methana. His experience on the 4 Greek volcanoes gives you a great introduction in the history of the Methana lava domes. A combination with Athens makes it possible to visit the ancient Acropolis and the centre of Athens. On Methana you can use the new renovated Methana Volcanic Spa and enjoy wellness (massages, gymn, baths).

Meeting with your guide Tobias Schorr after breakfast and a round tour through the center of Athens with the famous points of interest like ancient Acropolis and modern Greek life.

Travelling to Methana
Travelling by a modern ferry boat to Methana and a round tour on Methana after arriving there. First introduction into Methana´s geology.

Arrival info:Arrival at Athens Venizelos airport ATH with international flights. There Tobias Schorr will wait for you and drive to the hotel in Athens center by public bus. It would be useful to arrive about 14:00-18:00 Greek time to collect all the group. A individual taxi-transfer to the hotel is about 35-60 € as a option.
Accommodation:In Methana we stay in a nice family run private hotel and in Athens in a hotel at the center and near to the downtown.
