 Optional services: Trip Cancellation Insurance / Travel Insurance
This must minimally include appropriate medical travel and medical emergency treatment insurance abroad. Of course, you are free to choose your own insurance and let us know your insurance number, the address and emergency telephone number of your insurance, but we offer you a comprehensive multi-cover package - the "RundumSorglos" package, offered by our partner insurance ERV, one of Europe's leading insurers specialized in travel insurance: "RundumSorglos" – the comprehensive "carefree" travel insurance (3.5% of trip cost)This package is perfect for most trips and offers an excellent overall coverage including:- Cancellation insurance: The insurance will pay to you the contractually agreed cancellation charges or the additional costs for the outward journey if the start of the trip is delayed in case of cancellation for insured reasons, e.g. - serious injury resulting from an accident and unexpected serious illness - school examinations that have to be taken - natural events (e.g. flooding) occurring at the holiday resort before the start of the trip - loss of job on account of an unexpected company-related termination of employment. - Curtailment insurance: If the trip has to be curtailed, interrupted or extended for an insured reason, we will pay, e.g. - additional return travel costs - the proportionate trip price for unused travel services - the additional costs of the extended stay Insured sum is based on the rate booked. The excess to be paid is 20% of the benefit payment, at least EUR 25 per insured trip. - Travel Health Insurance with Medical Emergency Assistance: the insurance will pay the costs incurred for medical treatment abroad, organise your medical return transport, dispatch of drugs and repatriation of children. - All-round Carefree Service: the insurance will provide proactive support, e.g. if you lose your travel documents, advance money to cover the costs of lawyers and interpreters and help with rebooking. - Travel Baggage Insurance: the insurance will pay compensation if your baggage is lost or damaged. - Insurance Cover for Delay: the insurance will pay the additional costs incurred for the outward journey, if you miss your flight due to an accident of a public transport. ---- Further details and conditions: Product description |
