Physical requirements:

For the excursions on land, in particular the climbs to Salina's and Stromboli's summits, a good general physical condition and hiking experience on loose ground are required. They involve about 1000m climbing and descending, partly over steep (but not dangerous) passages with loose ground.
The other excursions are relatively easy.

Arrival info:

Ombre Blu is based in Milazzo, a convenient 1.5 hrs by car from the international airport of Catania and 2.5 hours from Palermo. A private return land transfer service to Ombre Blu is included from these airports. In other cases, we would be happy to assist you with your transfer arrangements.
Helicopter transfers are also available.
We are available to pick up guests from other locations on request - this
may incur an additional cost.

There are four private guest cabins (three with queen-size island beds, one with two single beds). Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. The boat features a very spacious salon with large, wraparound windows. The salon offers a state of the art DVD entertainment system with stereo sound, plus Satellite TV and high speed internet access. Each cabin has its own stereo hi-fi system as well. Naturally, Ombre Blu is air conditioned throughout.
