A new eruption is reported from Reventador volcano. The Ecuadorian Institute of Geophysics (Istituto Geofisico, IG) reports eruptive tremor starting on 27 July from 15h00 local time. In the evening of that day, incandscence became visible from the summit of the volcano, indicating lava flows. An ash plume rose to 500-2000m and light ashfall was reported in the area around Olmedo. ...plus [lire toutes]

On 19 July, activity at Okmok increased as interpreted from seismicity. Possibly, ash plumes rose to altitudes of 7.6-9.1 km (25,000-30,000 ft) a.s.l. The Volcano Alert Level was raised to Warning and the Aviation Color Code was raised to Red. ...plus [lire toutes]
A new eruption seems to have started at Cleveland volcano on 21 July. SERNAGEOMIN reported that after increased seismicity at Llaima on 14 July, an ash plume rose to an altitude of 5.6 km (18,400 ft) a.s.l. Less than two hours later, very intense orange and red incandescence was seen through breaks in the cloud cover near the summit and at the base of the W flank. At 1915 a vigorous Strombolian eruption ejected incandescent pyroclastic material from the N vent in the main crater to heights of 500 m above the summit.

![]() image showing the extent of the sulfur dioxide gas cloud from the eruption of Okmok Volcano. The large red mass is from the main explosive phase on 12 July at 2130 UTC and is at an estimated height of 50,000 ft above sea level. The north-south dimension of this cloud is about 850 miles. Current emissions from the volcano are at a lower altitude of approximately 30,000 to 35,000 feet. Other OMI data (not shown) indicate that volcanic ash is mixed with the sulfur dioxide cloud.

Over the past weeks, activity at from Santa María's Santiaguito lava dome complex was mild to low, producing produced ash plumes rising to 4.1-4.4 km (13,500-14,400 ft) a.s.l.
Mild strombolian activity continues at Fuego volcano. Incandescent material is thrown out up to 50 m above the vent on the summit crater and a small lava flow was observed on 13 June, travelling 100 m towards the Santa Teresa ravine on the W flank. Ash plumes reach altitudes of 3.9-4.4 km (12,800-14,400 ft) a.s.l. ...plus
