Nous tenons à exprimer nos condoléances pour les victimes, leurs familles et nos collègues en raison de l'attaque de touristes dans la région de Erta Ale. Jusqu'à présent, nous avons l'information de 5 touristes de l'Autriche et l'Allemagne tués dans cette attaque par les rebelles de Eritrea(?). Nous avons déjà revérifiez la situation de sécurité avec nos partenaires en Éthiopie et prendra une décision sur la tournée venant en Éthiopie à partir de 29 janvier.

They have seen that the lava lake had filled the the pit crater and that lava flew also into the main crater.There was a little 4 m high scoria ring at the vent. ...

The new fissure eruption in the Danakil near Erta Ale earlier this month, on 14-15 August, is reported to have killed five people, hundreds of camels and and drove more than 2 000 people from their homes. According to Ethiopian news sources, the "eruption also opened a 10km crack in the ground and spewed lava 300m in the air." ...
