this is more like a question: what types of eruptions were there???

Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
Weak strombolian activity continues. The seismic shows a mix of surface events (explosions) and small earthquakes ad weak tremor pulses related to fluid movements inside the volcano.
samedi, avril 06, 2013
INSIVUMEH reports no changes during the last week. Mild strombolian activity continues, and is visible especially at night.
jeudi, avril 04, 2013
Weak strombolian eruptions continue to be observed from Mackenney crater.
mardi, avril 02, 2013
Strombolian activity has continued and seems to be becoming slowly stronger. Incandescent material can now be seen ejected at night and lands mainly on the western flank of Mackenney crater, where INSIVUMEH advises tourists not to go.
dimanche, mars 31, 2013
Weak strombolian activity continues, accompanied by white-bluish degassing (SO2). So far, no new lava flow has appeared.
mercredi, mars 27, 2013
Weak explosions producing small plumes of steam and some ash and degassing were reported this morning.

Weak strombolian activity continues at the McKenney crater.

This morning's seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
The volcano continues to wake up progressively and "shows symptoms typical of generating new explosions and opening a new effusive vent for a lava flow" (INSIVUMEH) in the near future. ...plus
mardi, mars 19, 2013
Since last night, Pacaya volcano has been showing small strombolian activity, INSIVUMEH reports. The activity is from Mackenney crater and consists in weak explosions that throw incandescent bombs to up to 15 m above the crater. ...plus

Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
Weak gas and ash emissions continue. The seismic signal shows small superficial explosion signals and pulses of tremor lasting up to about 30 minutes.

Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
Current seismogram from Pacaya (PCG station, INSIVUMEH)
The volcano continues to wake up. Small gas and ash emissions were observed from the crater yesterday. The seismic signal shows volcanic tremor and volcanic quakes related to internal fluid movements and the degassing/ash venting at the surface.
jeudi, mars 14, 2013
INSIVUMEH reports continuing steaming/degassing and weak ash venting. Bluish gas and seismic activity suggest that magma is near the surface.
mercredi, mars 13, 2013
Occasional weak gas and ash emissions have been reported by INSIVUMEH who believes that a return to magmatic, likely strombolian activity from the Mackenney crater is a probable scenario for the near future (weeks).
mardi, mars 12, 2013
No new explosive activity or other surface activity except degassing / steaming has been observed over the past days.
jeudi, mars 07, 2013
Seismic recording from Pacaya on 5 Feb (INSIVUMEH)
Seismic recording from Pacaya on 5 Feb (INSIVUMEH)
The eruptive behavior of Pacaya has changed once more on 5 Feb, INSIVEUMEH reported. Constant gas emissions with weak brownish ash were observed from Mackenney crater, and Guatemalan scientists believe that this is a sign that the conduit continues to be cleared and could produce more regular, magmatic activity, in the form of strombolian explosions, in the near future. ...plus
mercredi, févr. 27, 2013
INSIVUMEH reports that the small explosions have ceased for now, but expects strombolian activity to resume soon, as the seismicity remains elevated.
mardi, févr. 26, 2013
The re-awakening of the volcano progresses: Today, INSIVUMEH reports some weak, perhaps strombolian explosions that ejected some material above the Mackenney crater. No further details about this activity were given.
vendredi, févr. 22, 2013
Weak ash emissions rising about 150 m occurred late on 20 Feb, INSIVUMEH reported last night. No explosion or other sounds were heard yesterday morning.
vendredi, févr. 15, 2013
Residents of San Francisco de Sales (San Vincente) village at the foot of the volcano reported having heard explosion sounds overnight. ...plus
mardi, janv. 29, 2013
Activity has been low recently. The degassing plume merely rises 50 m. Seismic recordings have not been available online for a while.
mardi, janv. 22, 2013
No significant changes have occurred. Volcanic seismicity remains elevated, reflecting both internal fluid movements and degassing at the surface.
mercredi, janv. 16, 2013

Current seismic signal from PCG station (INSIVUMEH)
Increased steaming has been observed today, but otherwise, there has not been any new activity. ...plus

Current seismic signal from PCG station (INSIVUMEH)
Current seismic signal from PCG station (INSIVUMEH)
The volcano produces numerous small volcanic earthquakes, but has not had any other surface activity. This could change quickly, though.

Current seismic signal from PCG station (INSIVUMEH)
Current seismic signal from PCG station (INSIVUMEH)
The volcano had for a few hours yesterday an increased fumarolic activity with a steam plume reaching 3,000 m altitude. No other surface activity was noted, but INSIVUMEH is increasing its monitoring efforts on the volcano.
