A serial of cinder cones in the "graben" structure in the area north of Kirikhan town in Turkey.

Introduction:

An eruption that produced lava flows was reported to have occurred in 1222 AD at the village Koruhüyüğü, in SO Turkey near the border with Syria (Catalog of Active Volcanoes of the World). Little is known about volcanism in this region and in the Smithsonian catalog of volcanoes it is wrong refered "beloning to Syria" and "unknown". There is no other volcanic items in an area of a circle of 200 km diameter, except this cinder cones that look relativly young.
