Licto volcano is a group of cinder cones along the Río Chambo about 25 km SE of the city of Riobamba and just north of the town of Licto, Ecuador. It is the southernmost young volcanic area in the Interandean valley of Ecuador.
The precise age of the cones is unknown, but based on their young morphology, they are believed to be Holocene or not older than late Pleistocene.

Introduction:

The group contains 3 principal cones composed mainly of basaltic-andesite to andesitic scoria. Cerro Tulabug at 3336 m is the highest and located 3 km NW of the town of Licto. Loma Bellavista, 2 km NE of the town, is a 3113-m-high andesitic scoria cone. A third cone, Licto, is of basaltic-andesite composition.
