Palena volcanPalena volcano is a group of 5 cinder cones in southern Chile NE of Melimoyu volcano. The cones are aligned along a NNE trend and are of Holocene age, i.e. younger than 11,700 years. The middle cone is called Cerro Palena and lends its name to the whole group.
