Introduction:The Shikaribetsu lava domes are andesitic-to-dacitic and constructed along a ENE-WSW line. The largest dome is Higashi-Nupukaushinupuri at the SW end. It has a breached crater and was the source of 2 or more large debris-avalanches with deposits extending to the south. |
