Eruptions du volcan Sollipulli: 1240 ± 50, 920 BC ± 75 years (radiocarbon dated) The volcano had a large plinian eruption about 2900 years ago from the Alpehué crater cutting the SW rim. Although it is less prominent in size than its larger neighbors Llaima and Villarrica, it is a potentially dangerous volcano because it tends to have large explosive eruptions. |
