Telica, l'un des volcans les plus actifs au Nicaragua, est un groupe de cônes et cratères qui se chevauchent sur une large gamme NW. L'évent le plus important est de 700 m de large et 120 m profond cratère double au sommet. Son cratère sommital du Sud a été la source de récentes éruptions de Telica. L'ancien Santa Clara évent à l'extrémité sud-ouest de l'édifice ont éclaté au 16ème siècle et est aujourd'hui couvert de végétation. Un autre évent El Liston, immédiatement au SE de Telica, est un autre édifice volcanique avec plusieurs cratères emboîtés. Fumerolles et mudpots bouillante se trouvent à Hervideros de San Jacinto, au SE de Telica. Cette zone importante géothermique est populaire parmi les touristes et le site d'exploration géothermique à proximité.

The seismic swarm continues with again increased strength. Especially the amplitudes of (shallow) volcanic quakes have been bigger than before. This volcano remains a good candidate for a next eruption in Central America.

Seismicity has remained high. INETER has not (yet) published anything about unusual activity at the volcano, which suggests that they don't expect any eruption anytime soon.

The seismic swarm continues with no changes. Hundreds of tiny quakes up to magnitudes around 2 have been occurring for the past days, but no reports have become available (so far).
The seismic swarm at the volcano continues, with many small tremors registered beneath the eastern sector of the volcano. There has not been any apparent surface activity reported (so far).

No updates about unusal activity have been posted by INETER, so it is likely that this is (so far) only an intrusion at some depth with no significant surface activity. [moins]
The seismic swarm has intensified a bit. Some of the quakes are now listed by INETER on their earthquake list. The largest is apparently a magnitude 2 earthquake at 1.2 km depth a few km to the east of the summit.
