Veniaminof Volcano (Alaska) - activiy update: small ash eruptions startedsamedi mars 04, 2006 18:23 | AUTEUR : TOM PFEIFFER
Mount Veniaminof volcano is getting more active: small ash emissions were observed coming from the intracaldera cone this morning (4 March 2006) from AVO webcam images. They consisted of small diffuse, low-level plumes, rising a few hundred meters (several hundred feet) above the cone, which has an elevation of 2,156 m (7,073 ft) above sea level. The ash emissions dissipated rapidly as they drifted towards the east. Ash fall is likely to be minor and should be confined to the summit caldera. --- Actualités précédentes
