Volcan Lokon avait 2 éruptions probablement plus petites hier (21 février) à 11:52, heure locale. Selon les nouvelles locales, l'éruption n'était pas considérée en raison de la couverture nuageuse sur la montagne, mais forte explosion ont été entendus dans Tomohon, la ville située au pied du volcan. L'éruption a été accompagnée par des centaines de séismes volcaniques peu profonds, enregistrés par l'observatoire local. Aucun des évacuations ont été prises, mais les personnes ont conseillé de rester au moins 2,5 distance du cratère.
