The new Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report is summarized as follows: -- new activity --- Galunggung (West Java, Indonesia): unrest disappears, alert level lowered back to normal Fuego (Guatemala): strong strombolian activity, ash plumes up to 2 km height, occasional pyroclastic flows Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia): possible minor eruption on 22 May, increase of activity and ash emissions on 29-30 May, eruptive activity Sirung (Pantar Island, Indonesia): weak steaming, alert lowered to 2 (out of 4) Soputan (North Sulawesi, Indonesia): increased seismic activity since 25 May, steaming from summit crater, eruption warning --- ongoing activity --- Bagana (Bougainville Island, Papua New Guinea): lava flow detected on satellite 16 May Cleveland (Aleutians): no activity detected Dukono (Halmahera Island, Indonesia): intermittent strong explosions, ash plumes reaching 4-5 km altitude Karmysky (Kamchatka): possible moderate eruption on 27 May with ash plume reaching 3 km altitude Popocatépetl (Mexico): ash venting and explosions, ash columns rising up to 2 km, incandescent tephra ejected occasionally Sakurajima (Japan): strong intermittent explosive activity, ash plumes reaching 4.6 km altitude Sangay (Ecuador): possible ash eruption on 28 May Santiaguito (Guatemala): moderate ash explosions 400-900 m high, glowing avalanches and viscous lava flow from dome Shiveluch (Kamchatka): strong explosive activity, ash plumes up to 10 km altitude on 19-20 May Tungurahua (Ecuador): ash venting and intermittent explosions, plumes up to 2.5 km above crater, ash fall ---

The first pilot group trip to Lesvos led the guests to geological highlights of the island of Lesbos.
