The pumice rafts from the recent eruption of Havre Seamount in the Kermandec archipelago (discovered 9 Aug) are spreading across the ocean, currently over an area of 270,000 km2 / 100,000 sq. miles of the Pacific Ocean. No new pumice has been observed, which could indicate that the eruption has waned or is over. ...
