Tours have a 10-person maximum between multiple vehicles, and different participants may be combined in a Group Tour unless an exclusive Private Tour is purchased.

Terms & Conditions Prices include private transportation, pick-up and drop-off from the Hilo/Volcano area, guiding, national park entry fees, local produce, juice & snacks, AND Hawai’i General Excise Tax (4.166%). Meat or veggie sandwiches are available for $10 with advance order. For pick-up and drop-off tour service from Hawai’i Island’s Kona side, the 4 hour round-trip commute from the Hilo side applies towards the total tour length. We highly recommend booking in advance to ensure we are available, and reservations are confirmed with a 20% deposit which will secure your tour date against other bookings. Payment in full is due by or on the tour date; tours with the option to extend are charged the difference after their completion. Our cancellation fee in the event YOU cancel the tour is forfeiture of the 20% deposit with at least 24 hours notice, otherwise the full tour balance is due. If WE are forced to cancel the tour for any reason (hazardous weather or public closures, for example), we will refund your deposit and tour payment in its entirety, though this is very rare. In most cases, we remain flexible and are able to adapt the itinerary to conditions and your preferences on the tour day, and will make every effort to reschedule if at all possible. Please contact us to discuss your situation if the need arises! We can accomodate up to 10 participants between our two four-wheel-drive vehicles, ensuring a personal tour. Please enquire by email if you are interested in our guiding service for larger groups as special arrangements can be made. Please let us know if you are bringing children (as they require special consideration and receive a discount), if your group is engaged in an educational curriculum, or if you have additional questions, requirements or special requests.
Booking & PaymentWe respond to most inquiries within 24 hours, sooner when possible, via email or phone (let us know your preference). We will discuss your tour options, possible itinerary, your preferences and everything else.
When you are ready to book, we will email you an official invoice with several payment options. We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB or Discover) by phone or secure online form (we send you the link), check by mail to our Hawai'i address, or wire transfer within the EU. When you submit payment, we will issue a confirmation and an updated invoice/receipt.
We will then finalize any necessary tour details, such as your pick-up time and location, what to bring, answer any remaining questions you may have, and see you on your tour date!
