Physical requirements:As our tours are customized, we can plan the itinerary according to your preferences and include more or less of strenous physical activity such as back-country hiking, mountain climbing etc.
Accommodation:We suggest you stay in Hilo (at sea level) or in Volcano Village (4000'/1200m) near the rim of the Kilauea caldera as your base.
In the description on the sample itinerary, we assume you're staying in Volcano. Transfers from Kona or other places could be arranged on request; in this case, one extra night should be added at the start.
