• Tours to Nyiragongo volcano

Nyiragongo volcano Jan 2011:

A selection of photos taken during the recent expedition to Nyiragongo volcano. The photos were taken between 9 and 12 January, when we stayed for 3 nights on the crater rim. Compared to our visits in 2006 and 2007, the lava lake has risen by about 50-100 m and is now also significantly larger in surface.
