Milos north coast has one of the geological wonders of the world to offer: the section around Sarakinikos Bay,- cliffs of ancient volcanic ash and pumice flow deposits, spectacularly polished and gullied by erosion.
Normally, a sunbathers paradise in summer, it reveals a rough beauty when the wind and waves become stronger.

Beaches of Milos
Milos has a stunning variety of beaches, and some are among the finest in Greece and probably the whole Mediterranean.

The old manganese mine near Cape Vani
During a visit in Nov. 2005, we took home some impressions from this old, now abandoned manganese mine located in the difficult-to access, "wild west" part of Milos.
