Milos Island, Greece: photos from Oktober 2008 - Sarakinikos coast
Milos north coast has one of the geological wonders of the world to offer: the section around Sarakinikos Bay,- cliffs of ancient volcanic ash and pumice flow deposits, spectacularly polished and gullied by erosion.
Normally, a sunbathers paradise in summer, it reveals a rough beauty when the wind and waves become stronger.
The following are photos taken during a hike along the coast (something not to be missed when you travel to Milos!) in Oct. 2008.
