Nyamuragira volcano eruption 2011-2012: photos 8 Jan 2012
During expedition to Nyiragongo in Jan 2012, we undertook a side trip to see Nyamuragira still in eruption. Lorraine sent us the following impressions taken 8 Jan.
"Trip was incredible – this was most definitely the highlight. We were incredibly lucky – our viewpoint was better than when the eruption first started due to the orientation of the new cone.
