The individual tour prices apply if the expedition is arranged with our local staff only. At surcharge (inquire), you can be accompanied exclusively with a volcanologist from our team.

Additional info:
Physical requirements:The climb up to and down from Nyiragongo is strenuous and takes about 5-6 hours (1500m total altitude gain) in often hot conditions, but the path is relatively easy and not excessively steep. Tracking the mountain gorillas may involve 3-7 hours easy trekking through rain forest.
Arrival info:The tour starts in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. Good connections to Kigali include Ethiopian airlines (partner of Lufthansa) via Addis, Kenya Airlines (KLM) via Nairobi and direct flights from Brussels offered by Sabena.
Customized tours:This tour is fully customizeable. We arrange expeditions with this or modified itineraries for parties of 1-12 pax.
Preceding / additional days:If you arrive earlier or depart later, we can easily book your additional nights in Kigali and-or arrange custom extension trips. Some options include:
- Akagera Natl. Park (2-3 days)
- Nyungwe Forest – Nyanza – Butare Museum (2-3 days)
