AVO confirms that the event on 30 May was an eruption that produced an ash plume rising no higher than 4.9 km (16,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifting SW.

A diffuse ash plume from Cleveland was observed during a break in cloud cover on 8 February. Pilots reported an ash plume that rose to an altitude of 6.1 km. Increased activity raised the Volcanic Alert Level to Orange. During 10-11 February, a thermal anomaly was visible on satellite imagery.
