Arrival (by flight, train or bus) to Yogya. We can arrange domestic flight tickets for you. If the airport is closed due to ash, you should take the night train or fly to Solo or other nearby airports instead. Transfer from the airport / train station to a hotel, meeting of the group. Acc.: : hotel in Yogyakarta or nearby
Day 2-5:
4 full days to observe Merapi's activity
The activities during our stay near Merapi will depend on the activity, weather and safety considerations. We will try to find and access the best and safe viewpoints to see the eruption as much as possible. Night-time observation will be a significant part of the trip, so be prepares for unusual sleeping times! Acc.: : hotel in Yogya or nearby (B)
Day 6:
End of expedition or own extension
End of the expedition or own extension. Flight / train / bus back to Jakarta or other cities (can be arranged on request). Acc.: : none (B)
