The traditional taverna near the historic volcano on Methana

When we were doing our excursions to the historic volcano of Methana we always enjoyed the little, traditional taverna of Theodoros Joannou and his wife Dorte from Denmark. They are friendly and they love the traditional way of their village Kameni Hora. They keep still the beauty of original Greek villages. And so their meals are original and very tasty. They use mostly products from their area. Theodoros called his taverna also "Inotherapevtirio Ifestion", what means "vinetherapy volcano". So his Retsina vine is also a great pleasure.

We loved sitting in the little terrace of the taverna enjoying the sun and the sweet children of Theodoros & Dorte.
