Tungurahua has moderate seismic activity with a weak tremor signal. A small emission was registered at 01:59 local time yesterday. Mostly the volcano is covered in clouds.

On 13 June ash plumes rose 2-2.5 km above the crater and drifted NE and N. Ashfall was reported in Cusúa (8 km NW) and Bilbao (8 km W). An explosion the next day caused windows to vibrate in areas 8 km SW and N. Steam plumes rose 0.5-2 km above the crater during 16-18 June. Windows in Manzano (8 km SW) vibrated during 18-19 June, and ashfall was reported in Palitagua, Runtún (6 km NNE), and Choglontús (SW). [more]
