Seismic signal from Tungurahua on 10 Aug (IG)
Tungurahua's activity has the volcano was elevated yesterday and considered as "moderate" by Instituto Geofisico (IG), who noted that there was a change in seismic activity, represented by the presence of tremor signal corresponding to steam and ash emissions and a small explosion.
In the morning during short periods of clear weather, IG observed steaming. There was ashfall in the Choglontús sector and its surroundings.
