On the 26 of April, 1986, co-founder of VolcanoDiscovery Tobias Schorr visited the Greek volcanic penisula Methana for his first time. It was during Easter time and turned into one of his best experiences with Greek culture & hospitality. From 1989 to 1999 Tobias Schorr has been living on Methana as photographer and organizing the first guided walking tours on the little known peninsula. Methana is still one of the most interesting areas and perfect for nature-lovers and geologists. Special tours to Methana and surroundings can be organised on request.
