The Castillo de Santa Bárbara, also called Castillo de Guanapay, is situated on the Canarian island Lanzarote in the municipality and townTeguise.

The "Castello" is a fortification east of the town Teguise on a old volcanic cinder cone, called Guanapay. The fortification was built in the 13th century to protect the local people against pirates. It was reconstructed by the Spain Leonardo Torriani in 1596. Even the fortification was built very strong, it was lost to the pirates a few times.
