Welcome to the Vanuatu archipel!

A father and his child
The Vanuatu archipel in the South Pacific Ocean is one of the most unspoiled places in the world. The friendly people of its islands care about their traditions and visitors are always welcome. Their tropical islands are a perfect place for relaxing but also to visit some of the world's most spectacular volcanoes, including the frequently active lava lakes of Ambrym and the constantly active volcano Yasur on Tanna Island.
As one of the least "developed" parts on our planet, Vanuatu is an example of how people can be happy without all our modern infrastructure. But what you find on Vanuatu explains this: a beautiful intact nature with clean beaches, coconuts, plentiful sea food and crops, a nice climate year-round...
Professional film-maker, photographer and travel journalist Ulla Lohmann, who has lived and travelled extensively on Vanuatu, has now joined our team and offers a new expedition to these fascinating islands. Flying over turquise bays, exploring its active volcanoes as well as meet the local people in their little villages are some of the highlights of this tour. We learn how the people respect the power of nature and that they have the volcano as a godness.
