According to the Darwin VAAC, an ash-and-steam plume from Ulawun that was reported on 15 August by the US Air Force Weather Agency rose to an altitude of ~3.7 km (~12,000 ft.) a.s.l. The plume was also visible on satellite imagery. [read all]Wednesday, Mar 01, 2006
