Agung volcano on Bali (Indonesia) has become again more active again with 2 ash plume producing eruptions in the past few days. Satellite images of Agungs’s crater obtained before and after the 10 June 2018 nighttime explosive event show that the crater topography remained the same but that there were some colour changes probably due to the freshly ejected material. A second explosion late morning of Wednesday 12 June produced a quickly dissipating ash plume that was photographed and spread through social media multiple times. It also resulted in a small thermal anomaly registered by Mirova, the first one in 9 days time.
