Activity of the volcano seems to have decreased significantly, and the most recent eruption has probably ended by now.

The satellite-based measured heat signal emitted by the volcano has almost disappeared during the past weeks. No other observations are currently available.

Over the past week, activity of the volcano seems to have been declining. The satellite-based observation of heat output has been decreasing, suggesting that the eruption might be waning or ending. read all

Eruptive activity of some sort continues at the volcano. This is evidenced by a strong thermal signal detected and a gas plume extending south of the small island, both detected on satellite imagery. read all
