On 14 January surveillance cameras observed an ash plume that rose 3,280 ft (1,000 m) above the crater rim. Volcanic gas (sulfur dioxide) emissions continue to be high. It was released 3700 tons/day.
Seismicity remained elevated with periods of amplitude tremor.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the crater.
