Aso volcano (central Kyushu, Japan): no significant change in activity since the last update

An ash plume rose 2,296 ft (700 m) above the crater rim and caused ashfall in areas downwind.
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 1,500-4,900 tonnes/day.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the crater.
