Ash explosions regularly produce plumes up to about 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude, such as this morning. Activity (strombolian-type) on the remote island remains strong.

Relatively frequent larger strombolian to vulcanian explosions continue to produce ash plumes regularly spotted on satellite data. The ash plumes reach altitudes of about 7,000 ft (2.1 km).

Strong strombolian to vulcanian activity continues. Another ash plume could be spotted on satellite imagery this morning. The estimated elevation was 7,000 ft (2.1 km).
