Bezymianny volcano (Kamchatka): new viscous lava flow

A viscous lava flow from Bezymianny volcano on 25 October (image: Yury Demianchuk/volkstat.ru)

Yury Demianchuk from the volcanological observatory reported that after the powerful eruption from 21 October a small pyroclastic flow traveled over the northern slope of the volcano.
A weak glow is visible at night from the crater.
An image from 25 October shows that a new viscous lava flow of andesitic to basaltic andesitic composition has started to descend on the flank.
