The volcano remains restless. During the past days, at least two smaller explosive eruptions occurred. The Aviation Color Code remains at ORANGE.
The latest was an hour ago at 15:50 UTC (7:50 am AKDT local time) and lasted only 2 minutes. It produced a small volcanic cloud that was observed by a pilot and estimated to have reached 20,000 ft elevation.
A similar smaller explosion was recorded at 02:42 UTC on 1 June.
