Cumbal volcano (Colombia) activity update: slightly increased seismicity but decreasing trend

Seismic signals indicating fluid movements under the volcano are still present but have decreased. Such signals occurred on 26, 27, 29 and 30 July.
During 18-24 July seismic activity at Cumbal volcano had decreased. Variable amounts of gas emissions, mostly steam, were observed in the web camera located in Cumbal town (9 km SE) during periods of clear weather, which occurred during 20-21 July. ... read all
