About 45 minutes after the onset, the eruption is now at its peak, probably going to start to decrease soon.

An impressive eruption column is rising near vertically - thanks to only weak winds - from the New SE crater, to heights of estimated 20,000 ft (6.3 km) according to the latest bulletin of the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) of Toulouse. At altitude, it beautifully spreads into a near-circular cloud known as umbrella cloud.
