It went for about 20 seconds then there was a big vibration like a heavy truck was driving in the yard. Then the windows started shaking and I felt a vibrating rumble go under the house. I was lying on my bed, I felt it through my body.
(1101.6 km E from epicenter) / MMI II (Very weak shaking): I felt like the ground was quivering and electric - it was weird enough that I wrote down the time. I saw the news just now. I've been at the epicentre of two quakes before and felt something "electric" in the prelude to them.

Humpty Doo / MMI II (Very weak shaking): Laying in bed and felt it rock slightly. Thought it was husband moving in his sleep but he was dead still. Searched internet for earthquakes near Darwin (we are in Humpty Doo) and found there was a small earthquake in Tennant Creek at 2100. I felt movement at 2125. Is that possible?
