Current seismic signal at Fuego (FG3 station, INSIVUMEH)
Activity remains elevated. The volcano observatory reports 4-5 explosions per hour, often strong with ash plumes rising more than 1 km above the crater and drifting 10-12 km.
Incandescent material is seen ejected to 100-150 m above the crater. Shock waves rattle windows and roofs of homes near the volcano and weak ashfall occurred in the town of Yepocapa and the village Ojo de Agua.
