Lewotolo volcano (Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia): sporadic explosions continue

An explosion at the volcano occurred on 11 January at 08:48 local time generating white-to-gray ash plume, which reached approx. 7,000 ft (2,100 m) altitude and drifted E.

The volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 41 mm and a duration of 46 seconds.
